Ingredient integrity is everything but we also believe that Clean Beauty needs to be about more than just safe ingredients. As consumers become more educated the demand for transparency is increasing, not just in ingredients but in sourcing practices, manufacturing processes and animal testing. We want to shine a light on brands that are going beyond just not using toxic ingredients but are also implementing green initiatives like recycling, sourcing sustainable ingredients and supply chains, reducing packaging, ingredient transparency and philanthropy.
Unfortunately the beauty industry remains largely unregulated and many products still contain toxic ingredients that should not be put on our skin. At Beauty Warrior we have put together our “Naughty List” of ingredients that you will not find in any of our products. Not only do we want to keep nasty ingredients out, but we also want brands that put incredible nourishing, pristine ingredients in. When choosing our brands, we look for those formulated with the highest quality, organic, biodynamic and wild-harvested ingredients that have been ethically sourced by companies who care about your health and the health of our planet.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of animals are killed, poisoned and blinded to test the safety and efficacy of cosmetics and skincare products. Buying products that are not tested on animals will help put an end to animal cruelty and sends a powerful message to multinationals that still condone these practices. Beauty warrior is 100% cruelty free. We are completely against animal testing. We make sure that our brands do not test on animals themselves, that they don’t have independent 3rd parties test for them and they do not sell in mainland China (which can require animal testing for brands sold there).
