PurEarth is an award winning, wild harvested, ethical skincare line from the pristine Himalaya's in India. It has been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Huffpost and Forbes magazine. It was founded in 2012 by Kavita Khosa. The range is harvested by hand from Himalayan glacier-fed terrains and mineral-rich uncontaminated forest soil. The rare and precious botanicals come from farmers and grassroots producers, from remote, high-altitude Himalayan valleys and villages. These ingredients are blended by hand in their Ayurvedic zero waste studio in Pune in India.
Ocean safe, planet and people safe, their ingredients are 100% compostable, not just biodegradable! There is no alcohol, petrochemicals, parabens, phthalates, palm, formaldehyde, silicones, sulphates, carbomers, glycols, phenoxyethanol, PEG, MEA, DEA, TEA and GMOs in their glossary of ingredients.
Pre-mix bases, fillers, toxic chemicals, synthetic colours, fragrances, additives and the myriad of questionable chemicals are never a part of their approach. Essential oils are always therapeutic grade and steam or hydro distilled, never toxic solvent extracted. Products are produced in micro-batches, hand blended and filled at their studio so that a little bit of love spills into every apothecary jar. They use French Violet glass to block a complete spectrum of light, letting in only the violet rays that protect and preserve the bio-active energy of their premium ingredients.
PurEarth also gives back through its Pure Purpose Foundation to support social impact projects. They also run a recycling program to work towards a zero waste business model and for every bottle they have returned, they plant a tree. PurEarth believes that beauty should be cruelty free. They are proud to be Leaping Bunny certified, The internationally recognised gold standard for cruelty free.
